Fargo Retransfer Film Details

Genuine Fargo HDP 84900 retransfer film is required when printing cards with a reverse transfer Fargo printer.

Fargo HDP retransfer printers print your card image to the underside of the Fargo 70208 film, which is then applied to the surface of the card. The card image is ‘sandwiched’ between the retransfer film and the card.

To maintain the warranty on your Fargo card printer, optimize the use of your printer, and maximize the quality of your printed cards, use only genuine Fargo  HDP retransfer film ribbons.

Did you know that Fargo retransfer films have a shelf life?

Retransfer film ribbons typically have a shelf life of up to one year, when stored under the proper conditions. Retransfer films that are not store properly, and are more than one year old, will not print optimally and will likely end up costing more time in maintenance and more money in reprinting cards.
